YouTube Go-Live Setup
Manage your YouTube broadcast records here: create, update details like thumbnail/tags, delete. You actually go live from OBS or the mobile app.
YouTube Go-Live Setup lets you manage the broadcast records on your YouTube channel through LiveJix: create a new one, update an existing broadcast's title/description/thumbnail/category/tags, or delete it if needed. This tool doesn't start streams — you actually go live through OBS's own YouTube account connection or LiveJix's mobile live-streaming tool; the broadcast you prepare or update here automatically shows up in those tools' "Select Existing Broadcast" list.
How to use it
- Click Create New Broadcast and enter a title, description, privacy, category, thumbnail and tags.
- Your broadcasts appear as cards in a list; the one currently live is flagged with a LIVE badge.
- Edit a record to update it, or Delete it (YouTube may not allow deleting the persistent broadcast Studio creates automatically).
- To actually go live, connect your own YouTube account in OBS and select this broadcast, or use the LiveJix mobile app.
Templates
Save the settings you use often — title, thumbnail, category, tags as a template and load them with one click when creating a new broadcast.
FAQ
Do I start the stream here? No, this tool only prepares/edits the broadcast record. Starting happens in OBS or the mobile app.
Why don't I see an RTMP URL or stream key? You don't need them here, OBS's own account connection or the mobile app handles that on its side.
Why can't I edit the made-for-kids flag or latency? YouTube only lets you set these at creation time, not afterward.
Is there age restriction, slow mode, or participation modes? No, those aren't in YouTube's API, only in the Studio interface.
