Chat Alerts

Chat Alerts post an automatic message when an interaction happens on your channel. Instead of trying to thank every new follower by hand, you write the message once and the bot speaks on your behalf.

How to set it up

  1. Pick an event from the live stream event tabs (follow, subscription, host…).
  2. Use Add message to write one or more messages for that event.
  3. Drop variables into the text — fields like the username are replaced with real data at send time. Click any variable in the list to copy it.
  4. Save, and the messages start appearing in chat as soon as the event fires.

Why more than one message?

If you define several messages for an event, the bot won't repeat the same sentence every time. We recommend writing at least two or three variations so your chat doesn't feel robotic.
