A Safe Ecosystem in the Digital World Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş met with representatives of the gaming world and content creators at a meeting held in Istanbul.
During the meeting, risks on digital platforms and strategies for protecting children were discussed comprehensively.
Minister Göktaş stated that they aim for children to exist in the digital world in peace and safety.
Listening to the suggestions of content creators, Göktaş emphasized the importance of building a healthy digital ecosystem that supports children's development.
"We Are Guiding, Not Prohibitive" Explaining the Ministry's approach to this process, Göktaş stated that they assume a role that guides and supervises rather than taking a prohibitive stance in digital media.
Noting that cooperation with industry stakeholders is critical in this process, the Minister said that efforts will continue with determination to ensure children grow up in a healthier and more conscious manner.
