2026 Urban Transformation Rent Assistance and Moving Support Amounts Announced

Rent Assistance Amounts Updated by Province The Urban Transformation Presidency, under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, has determined the rent assistance amounts to be applied for the year 2026.
According to the new list organized based on the cost of living in various provinces to encourage the evacuation of risky structures, monthly rent assistance in Istanbul will range between 9,000 TL and 10,500 TL.
In Ankara, Izmir, and other metropolitan areas, this amount varies between 7,500 TL and 8,500 TL, while monthly payments for beneficiaries in other provinces will be between 5,500 TL and 6,000 TL.
One-Time Moving Support for Tenants Financial support is offered not only to property owners but also to tenants in evacuated buildings during the urban transformation process.
The practice of providing one-time moving assistance instead of monthly payments for tenants will continue in 2026.
Moving support amounts, which vary by city groups, have been set between 11,000 TL and 21,000 TL.
Application Requirements and Necessary Documents To benefit from rent assistance, the building must be identified as a "risky structure" under Law No.
6306 and officially evacuated.
Beneficiaries are required to submit their applications via e-Devlet or to the Provincial Directorates of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and relevant municipalities following the evacuation process.
The documents requested during the application are as follows: Identification document Current title deed record or lease agreement Risky structure detection report Evacuation document IBAN information Authorities remind that applications must be made within the legal period following evacuation, noting that there is no possibility of retroactive payment for late applications.
