Details of the Operation Teams from the Muğla Provincial Police Department carried out simultaneous operations across the province as part of an investigation coordinated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
During the raids conducted in the Menteşe, Milas, and Fethiye districts, journalists identified as H.T., M.T., and S.C.B.
were taken into custody.
In addition to the journalists, police also detained O.A., reported to be a former provincial head of a political party, along with individuals identified as M.G., S.K., U.K., and H.B.
The processing of the eight suspects at the police station is currently ongoing.
Background of the Investigation The operation is reported to be the second phase of a comprehensive investigation launched several months ago.
During the initial stage of the investigation, numerous suspects were detained, and two individuals who were referred to the judicial authorities were subsequently arrested and sent to prison.
