Focus on Public Health and Honest Tradesmen Saruhan Yağmur, President of the Adana Chamber of Butchers, emphasized that ensuring citizens' access to healthy and reliable food is a top priority.
He reminded the public that all slaughtering processes must be conducted in official slaughterhouses under the supervision of veterinarians.
Yağmur stated that the raids carried out last year will continue this year as part of a more comprehensive effort.
He noted that inspections will be increased to prevent illegal activities in the sector.
Warning Against Unsupervised Slaughtering The Chamber President also issued warnings regarding unsupervised slaughtering taking place in neighborhoods or on farms based on private orders.
He pointed out that slaughtering in uncontrolled environments poses serious health risks.
Yağmur added that no concessions will be made against such practices, aiming to protect honest tradesmen and ensure that citizens have access to safe food products.
