Positive Opening in VIOP The February BIST 30 index contract at Borsa Istanbul's Futures and Options Market (VIOP) began the day at 15,433.00 points, up 0.1% from the previous normal session close.
During the evening session, the index contract had traded at 15,430.00 points, recovering some of its earlier losses.
Investors are focusing on today's release of U.S.
growth figures and the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, which the Federal Reserve considers a key inflation indicator.
Domestic and International Data Agenda Analysts noted that the international investment position, real sector confidence index, and manufacturing capacity utilization rate will be monitored domestically today.
Internationally, a heavy data schedule will be followed, including U.S.
growth and PCE data, as well as Germany's Producer Price Index (PPI).
Technical Levels From a technical perspective, the 15,500 and 15,600 point levels stand out as resistance points for upward movements in the index contract.
In the event of a pullback, the 15,200 and 15,100 point levels are positioned as support.
