Weekly Increase in Reserves The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has released its weekly money and banking statistics for the week ending February 13.
According to the data, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by $4.302 billion compared to the previous week.
With this rise, total reserves climbed from $207.482 billion to $211.784 billion.
The CBRT's gold reserves also saw a significant uptick, increasing by $3.588 billion from $128.611 billion to $132.199 billion.
The 2.1% increase in total reserves was largely driven by the momentum in gold assets.
The newly released figures indicate that the strengthening of the Central Bank's reserve position continues.
