Historic Threshold in Diesel Prices: Liter Price Exceeds 60 TL for the First Time

Historic Record in Fuel Prices Rising oil prices, driven by escalating tensions between the US and Iran in global markets, have directly impacted domestic fuel pump prices.
With a 2.40 TL increase in the price of diesel per liter, a historic threshold in fuel prices has been crossed.
As of today, under the new tariff, diesel prices have surpassed the 60 TL level for the first time.
Current Prices in Major Cities With the new hike, diesel prices have been updated to 60.30 TL in Istanbul (European side), 61.41 TL in Ankara, and 61.69 TL in Izmir.
In various Anatolian provinces, prices reached even higher levels due to logistics costs.
Diesel prices broke records in Ağrı at 62.94 TL and in Rize at 62.15 TL.
Goldman Sachs Raises Oil Forecasts As volatility in the oil market continues, investment bank Goldman Sachs has revised its expectations upward.
The bank increased its Brent and WTI oil price forecasts for the fourth quarter of 2026 by $6 each, citing lower-than-expected OECD stocks.
However, there was no change in the global supply surplus expectations.
