New 100 Billion Lira Financing Package Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır has announced the launch of a new 100 billion lira financing program designed for manufacturing industry firms.
Under the program, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large-scale companies will be able to access loans of up to 50 million lira, proportional to their monthly employment costs.
The loans will be offered with maturity options of up to 36 months, including a 6-month grace period for principal payments.
Minister Kacır emphasized that access to finance is viewed as the guarantee of production and stated that this support would enhance the competitiveness of industrialists.
Growth in Production and Export Value Highlighting Turkey's transformation into a global production hub over the last 23 years, Minister Kacır noted that the value added in the manufacturing industry has risen from $41 billion to $241 billion.
He also pointed out that annual exports, which stood at $36 billion in 2002, have reached $273 billion.
Kacır stated that Turkey holds a leading position in terms of product and market diversity across a wide geography stretching from China to Central Europe.
Positive Global Differentiation Regarding developments in the industrial production index, Kacır reported that Turkey has achieved a 31.5% increase compared to the pre-pandemic period.
He noted that this figure represents a significant success when compared to leading European economies.
During the same period, industrial production decreased by 12.5% in Germany, 5.8% in Italy, and 3.3% in France.
Investment Incentives and Future Targets Minister Kacır stated that the results achieved in the fight against inflation would lower financing costs for industrialists in the medium and long term.
He also touched upon the ministry's future objectives, including the HIT-30 Program, which envisions $30 billion in state support by 2030.
These project-based incentives aim to increase investments in critical technologies and close the foreign trade deficit.
