EPDK Approves BOTAŞ's 2026 Natural Gas Transmission Investment Program

Investment Budget Set at 26.5 Billion Liras The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has finalized the 2026 national transmission network investment program for the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ).
According to the approved program, the total amount for these investments has been announced as 26,492,654,030 Turkish Liras.
Spending and Implementation Principles In accordance with the decision taken by EPDK, it has been stipulated that the funds allocated for each project within the investment program cannot exceed the determined ceiling prices.
No expenditures can be made for any project not included in the program, and the use of investment funds for non-investment purposes will not be permitted.
Audit and Reporting Process Any changes to be made to the 2026 national transmission network investment program will be subject to Board approval.
BOTAŞ will manage the process transparently by preparing periodic reports on the progress of the investment program.
These reports will be organized to cover the periods of January 1–June 30 and July 1–December 31.
BOTAŞ is obligated to submit these reports to the authority no later than 30 days following the end of the relevant periods.
