President Erdoğan Announces Cabinet Reshuffle and Major Investment for Boğaziçi University

Turkey's Role in Global Politics President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made significant statements regarding Turkey's strategic position in the international arena and the domestic agenda.
Stating that Turkey's principled stance in foreign policy has garnered global appreciation, Erdoğan emphasized that the country's position on regional and global developments is closely monitored worldwide.
Cabinet Reshuffle and New Appointments Touching upon the cabinet reshuffle carried out last week, President Erdoğan stated that Akın Gürlek has been appointed as the Minister of Justice and Mustafa Çiftçi as the Minister of Interior.
Erdoğan thanked Yılmaz Tunç and Ali Yerlikaya for their services and sacrifices to date and wished success to the new cabinet members.
Message of Peace and Dialogue in Foreign Policy Stating that Turkey pursues a policy centered on peace, dialogue, and negotiation at a time when global tensions are escalating, Erdoğan summarized the country's strategic goals: "In today's world, where severe earthquakes are occurring in the global system, Turkey's sole aim is to increase the number of its friends and gain new ones." Referring to meetings with Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis, Erdoğan reported that expectations regarding the rights of the Turkish minority in the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Western Thrace were discussed.
He also noted that the trade volume with Serbia has reached 3.5 billion dollars, stating that cooperation in civil aviation and tourism will strengthen.
8 Billion Lira Investment Drive for Boğaziçi University Drawing attention to investments in education, President Erdoğan provided information about the newly opened dormitory buildings and planned projects at Boğaziçi University.
Stating that university standards will be raised with investments exceeding 8 billion liras, Erdoğan announced a modern library with a capacity of 1.5 million books and new laboratory complexes worth 3 billion liras.
Emphasizing that universities are not the domain of any marginal ideology, Erdoğan added that these institutions belong to the beloved nation.
