Latest Status of the British Pound and Swiss Franc The British pound and the Swiss franc were also among the currencies that started the week with value gains.
The British pound, which stood at 59.1620 lira for buying and 59.1720 lira for selling on Friday, began trading at 59.2450 lira for buying and 59.2550 lira for selling on Monday morning.
The Swiss franc rose from Friday's levels of 56.5170 lira for buying and 56.5270 lira for selling to 56.6060 lira for buying and 56.6160 lira for selling on Monday.
