Claims of Being a Prosecutor According to witness statements and recordings of the incident, the aggressor identified herself as a prosecutor and used severe language against the victim.
The suspect was recorded saying, "I will take you down; I will put air into your brain that doesn't get any.
The police are under my command.
I will kill you; children die because of bigots like you." "I am a citizen, why am I a bigot?
Is it because I wear a headscarf?" The victim defended herself against the insults with these words during the confrontation.
Identification of Suspect Underway Following the public outcry over the incident, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation.
The legal process is being conducted under the charges of "Threatening" and "Inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting." Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to identify and apprehend the suspect.
