Vocational Training Within the Scope of the Project A new training program has been implemented in Konya as part of the "Strengthening Seasonal Agricultural Capacities in Rural Areas" (INSURE) project.
The initiative is funded by the European Union and coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Turkish Red Crescent, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The "Pastry Course," organized in cooperation with the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Konya Red Crescent Community Center, concluded after participants successfully completed their training.
Theoretical and Practical Lessons During the intensive five-day course, technical personnel from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry provided trainees with both theoretical and practical lessons.
The program aimed to provide vocational skills required in the food sector and to improve the quality of the local workforce.
Employment-Oriented Results It was reported that seven of the trainees who successfully completed the training will be employed within relevant businesses.
Within the scope of the INSURE project, vocational skill development courses aimed at increasing employment in the food, agriculture, and livestock sectors are expected to continue in the coming period.

7 People to be Employed in Konya Following INSURE Project Pastry Training
A pastry training course funded by the European Union under the INSURE project has concluded in Konya, with seven successful trainees set to be employed in the sector.
