Significant Increase in Theft Cases The UK's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has released data for 2025, revealing the most stolen car models in the country.
Research results indicate that vehicle theft cases have doubled compared to 2015.
Last year, a total of 54,830 vehicles were recorded as stolen, with popular hatchback models dominating the top of the list.
Top Models and Brand Distribution Despite being discontinued, the Ford Fiesta remains one of the most preferred models in the UK and topped the list with 3,511 units stolen.
The Fiesta was followed by the Volkswagen Golf with 1,625 units and the Ford Focus with 1,474 units.
Toyota and its luxury brand Lexus stood out as the brands with the most models in the top 10 list.
Statistics show that the growing interest in the SUV segment is also reflected in theft data.
