The Best of Sports Awards Find Their Winners The 28th "Best of Sports" awards, organized by Bakırköy Ata Sports Club, were presented to their recipients at a ceremony held recently.
During the evening, which honored athletes, managers, and organizations that have contributed to Turkish sports for many years, the MXGP Turkey World Motocross Championship won the "Best Sports Project of the Year" award.
International Success and Record Participation The championship, held at the Afyonkarahisar Motorsports Center, broke significant records this year in terms of both the number of participants and spectator interest.
Featuring top-tier riders from various countries, the races once again proved Turkey's rising position in motorsports.
MXGP Turkey stands out for its contribution to sports tourism and has received extensive coverage in the international press for its organizational quality, track structure, and atmosphere.
Federation President Sadık Vefa: Our Goal is Young Talents The award was accepted by Sadık Vefa, President of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation.
In his speech at the ceremony, Vefa touched upon the success of the organization and the support given to young athletes, stating: “We have successfully completed the eighth edition of MXGP Turkey this year.
We are working to take this great organization, which contributes to sports and sports tourism, further every year.
Our goal is to discover young talents and bring new stars to Turkish motorsports.”
