Applications Open for TEKNOFEST 5G and AI Smart Road Safety Competition

Scope and Technological Infrastructure The "5G and AI Smart Road Safety Competition," led by Turkcell, aims to combine the innovative ideas of young people with modern digital infrastructures.
The competition encourages university students to blend the advanced capabilities of 5G networks with Network APIs and artificial intelligence technologies.
Participants are expected to produce high-value-added solutions in the field of smart road safety through the effective use of network resources, dynamic management of network quality, and real-time data analysis.
The competition holds strategic importance by providing young people with the opportunity to work directly with technologies that shape the digital infrastructure of the future.
Application Requirements and Participation Details Undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and open education students studying at universities in Turkey and abroad can participate in the competition as teams.
In the organization, which encourages interdisciplinary work, teams must consist of at least 2 and at most 5 people.
The deadline for teams wishing to design the smart cities and safe road infrastructures of the future is February 20.
Teams that complete their applications will have the opportunity to showcase their projects within TEKNOFEST and take part in Turkey's technology ecosystem.
Prizes Projects found successful at the end of the competition will be supported with cash prizes.
Among the winning teams, the first place will receive 175,000 TL, the second place 150,000 TL, and the third place 125,000 TL.
