Number of Closed Companies in Turkey Decreased by 78% in January 2026

Significant Change in Monthly Data Company statistics for January 2026 have been announced in Turkey.
According to the data, 11,115 companies were established in January, while the number of closed companies showed a significant decrease compared to the previous month, falling to 1,604.
In December 2025, 7,282 companies were closed in Turkey.
In January, this figure decreased by 5,678 units, corresponding to a 77.97% monthly decline in the number of closed companies.
Decrease in Established Companies A decrease was also observed in the number of established companies during the same period.
The number of newly established companies, which was 12,793 in December 2025, decreased by 13.12% to 11,115 in January.
Annual Company Mobility Compared to the same month of the previous year, there was a limited increase of 0.72% in the number of established companies.
The number of closed companies decreased by 17.95% on an annual basis, showing a remarkable improvement in the data.
January data signaled stabilization in the commercial ecosystem with the sharp decline in company closures.
