Chat Bot

ChatBot preferences control how your bot looks in your channel and which account its messages are sent from. Badge and colour changes apply to your live chat immediately.

Which account sends the messages?

On Kick you can choose whether messages go through the official API using the bot account, or from your own user account. On YouTube there are two options: messages are sent from the LiveJix bot account (the bot is automatically made a moderator when your stream starts), or from your own YouTube channel.

Appearance settings

  1. Choose which badges the bot displays in chat. The moderator badge is always shown.
  2. Set the colour of bot messages to match your channel identity.
  3. Save — changes take effect from the next message onward.

FAQ

What changes if I send from my own account? Messages appear under your name, so viewers see you rather than a bot. In exchange, messages are subject to your own account's limits.
Does the bot need to be a moderator? For actions like deleting and timing out, yes. On YouTube this is done automatically when the bot account is selected.
Do I need to restart my stream after a colour change? No, it applies right away.
