Triple Holiday Boost for Antalya Tourism: Season Starts Early

He noted that the alignment of multiple holidays is creating a unique surge in demand for the region.
A National Sector and Strategic Coordination Highlighting that tourism is not limited to accommodation facilities, Kavaloğlu described the industry as a "national sector" that operates in coordination with airlines, tour operators, agencies, and public institutions.
He stressed that the sustainability of success depends heavily on the synchronized efforts of all stakeholders across the board.
Rising Demand from Europe and the Diaspora The activity expected in the spring months is driven by three major holiday periods: Nowruz, Easter, and Eid al-Fitr.
Kavaloğlu pointed out that Turkish citizens living in Europe are prioritizing Antalya for their Eid al-Fitr vacations, with a significant increase in reservations observed through tour operators.
Additionally, European tourists are expected to visit the region by combining the Easter holiday with the festive period, further boosting occupancy rates.
This overlap is seen as a critical driver for the early season momentum.
Looking ahead, Kavaloğlu also touched upon long-term planning, reminding the industry of the need to remain proactive and prepare for potential challenges that may arise in 2026.
