TURKSTAT Announces February 2024 Sectoral Confidence Indices: Retail on the Rise, Construction Declines

February Outlook for Sectoral Confidence Indices The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) has released the seasonally adjusted confidence index data for February 2024.
According to the report, the service sector confidence index remained unchanged compared to the previous month, maintaining its current level.
Rise in Retail Trade The seasonally adjusted confidence index for the retail trade sector increased by 2.9% in February compared to the previous month, reaching a value of 115.9.
This increase indicates that optimistic expectations within the sector continue.
While the retail sector showed growth, the construction sector experienced a downturn during the same period, reflecting a divergence in sectoral outlooks.
