US Embassy in Ankara Suspends Social Media Updates

The US Embassy in Ankara has announced that it will suspend regular updates to its social media accounts due to a budget pause in the federal government.
In statements shared by the embassy, it was noted that the relevant social media accounts will not be updated regularly "until all activities resume, except for urgent information regarding safety and security" due to the budget shutdown.
The federal government in the United States has partially shut down because the House of Representatives has not yet voted on the budget package, despite the Senate's approval.
