Weekly Loss at Borsa Istanbul: BIST 100 Index Declines 1.74%

Weekly Outlook for Borsa Istanbul The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul lost 1.74% on a weekly basis, retreating to 13,934.06 points.
Throughout the week, the index followed a volatile course, testing a low of 13,718.14 points and a high of 14,532.67 points.
Despite the general selling pressure in the market, the resilience of technology stocks drew attention.
Sectoral Performance: Technology Divergence Varying performances were observed in sectoral indices on a weekly basis.
The technology index became one of the few sectors to close the week positively, gaining 3.20%.
In contrast, declines prevailed in other main sectors: Services index: 3.08% decrease Industrial index: 2.60% decrease Financial index: 1.17% decrease Top Performing and Declining Stocks Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, the top gainer of the week was Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ with an increase of 35.64%.
On the selling side, Girişim Elektrik Sanayi fell by 16.70%, Qua Granite Hayal Yapı ve Ürünleri Sanayi by 14.16%, and Ral Yatırım Holding by 13.51%, recording the highest losses of the week.
Latest Situation in Foreign Exchange and Gold Markets Among investment vehicles, gold and the US dollar closed the week with gains.
However, a retreat was observed in other foreign currencies.
The British pound lost 0.97% to trade at 59.0610 liras, while the Swiss franc fell by 0.49% to 56.6320 liras.
