According to insider information, three different formulas are being considered for the bonus amount: 5,000 TL, 5,500 TL, and 6,000 TL.
Legal Process and Payment Schedule For the regulation to become law, impact analyses must first be completed by the relevant institutions.
The prepared proposal is expected to be brought to the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) towards the middle of the month of Ramadan.
Following parliamentary approval, the regulation will come into effect, and payments are planned to be deposited into retirees' bank accounts during the week preceding the holiday, as is the case every year.
Who Will Benefit from the Bonus?
Holiday bonus payments cover not only retirees but also a wide range of individuals receiving monthly pensions and income from the Social Security Institution (SGK).
In this context, payments will be made to those receiving old-age, duty disability, disability, and death pensions, as well as permanent incapacity income.
Additionally, those receiving permanent incapacity income as a result of work accidents or occupational diseases will receive payments in amounts calculated according to their degree of incapacity and report rates.
