Positive Opening for the BIST 100 Index The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul began the day with an increase of 80.39 points compared to the previous close.
Gaining 0.56 percent in value, the index rose to the level of 14,340.28 points.
Sectoral Outlook and Banking Index In the opening session, the banking index recorded an increase of 0.48 percent, while the holding index rose by 0.32 percent.
A positive outlook prevailed across sector indices, with investor interest in main sector groups drawing attention.
Prominent Sectors Among the sector indices, the financial leasing and factoring sector was the top gainer with a 1.09 percent rise.
The only sector to lose value in the first transactions of the day was recorded as securities investment trusts, with a decrease of 0.49 percent.
