Borsa Istanbul Surpasses 14,000 Point Threshold: Sharp Rise in Gold Prices

The index gained 0.92% compared to the previous close, reaching the 14,061.71 point level.
During the day, the index tested a high of 14,190.09 points and saw a session low of 14,019.99 points.
Sectoral Performance and Notable Stocks In terms of trading volume, Turkish Airlines (THYAO), İş Bankası (ISCTR), and Akbank (AKBNK) were the most active stocks in the market.
The top gainers of the day were SMART, TEHOL, and BRLSM, while ZGYO, ENSRI, and AKFIS were among the shares experiencing the most significant declines.
On a sectoral basis, the mining index rose by 5.66%, the sports index by 3.87%, and the main metal industry by 3.45%.
Conversely, the transportation sector lost 1.14%, the technology sector 0.57%, and the insurance sector 0.25%.
Gold and Cryptocurrency Markets The price of gram gold rose to 7,327 TL with a value gain exceeding 2%.
In the cryptocurrency markets, Bitcoin maintained its horizontal course, stabilizing around the $65,967 level.
