Borsa Istanbul Starts the Week at Record Level: BIST 100 Surpasses 14,000 Points

Recording an increase of 158.11 points compared to the previous close, the index gained 1.13% to reach the 14,092.16 level at the opening.
Sectoral Performance and Highlights In the first transactions of the new week, it was noteworthy that all sector indices were positioned in positive territory.
The banking index, which is closely monitored by economic management and market participants, gained 1.40%, while the holding index rose by 1.01%.
The highest gains among the sectors were seen in the mining industry.
Providing a 2.44% return to investors at the opening, the mining sector became the top-performing group of the day.
Analysts anticipate that global market data flow and the interest of domestic investors will continue to be the primary factors determining the index's trajectory.
