Borsa Istanbul Closes Week Mixed: BIST 100 Index Drops to 13,782 Points

Diverging Performance in Indices On Friday, February 20, 2026, indices at Borsa Istanbul concluded the week with a mixed performance.
The BIST 30 index rose by 0.14% to reach 15,300.57 points, while the BIST 50 index saw a limited gain of 0.11%, trading at 12,130.10 points.
Demand for blue-chip companies was observed to be effective in these slight increases.
Losing 0.16% daily, the BIST 100 retreated to the 13,782.50 level.
Analysts noted that uncertainties in global markets and news flows suppressed investor appetite, leading to a cautious pullback in the main index.
Stock-Specific Movements and Trading Volume Among the most notable stocks of the day, Turkish Airlines (THYAO) traded at 315.5 TL with a 0.96% increase, while Aselsan (ASELS) rose by 2.12% to 313.5 TL.
On the other hand, SASA closed the day at 2.41 TL with a 4.37% decrease, and İş Bankası (ISCTR) fell by 0.24% to 16.43 TL.
Netcad (NETCD) reached the 100.2 TL level with a 2.61% premium.
In a market where investors are closely following mid-cap companies within the BIST 50, short-term strategies are expected to remain at the forefront.
