Court Decision The Istanbul Anadolu 2nd Region Court lifted the travel ban imposed on influencer Özlem Altınok Öz and her husband Tayyar Taylan Öz following a petition presented by their lawyer, Mustafa Tırtır.
Indictment Details The indictment, prepared by the Istanbul Anadolu Public Prosecutor's Office, alleges that the couple used the Medelina company to commit tax evasion, causing a loss of 10 million Turkish lira.
It also states that the offense of violating the Tax Procedure Law was considered an aggravating circumstance.
Court Reasoning Despite similar cases involving other public figures receiving stricter measures, the court noted that no precautionary measures had been applied to the defendants.
It considered the plaintiffs’ requests to mitigate harm and decided to remove the travel ban.
Other Judicial Control Measures In addition to lifting the travel ban, the court also removed other judicial control measures that had been imposed on the defendants.
