Talks Ongoing for Turkish Airlines' Yerevan-Los Angeles Flights

Yerevan-Los Angeles Route on the Agenda Lusine Gevorgyan, Chair of the Armenian Tourism Committee, has reported that negotiations are ongoing for Turkish Airlines (THY) to establish direct flights between Yerevan and Los Angeles.
Gevorgyan emphasized that Turkish Airlines possesses the potential and resources to operate this route, stating that the project is among the committee's priority objectives.
While a specific timeline has not yet been established, Gevorgyan highlighted the airline's global reach and noted that this destination is one of the newly negotiated routes.
Turkish Airlines Increasing Yerevan Flights Turkish Airlines plans to increase its direct flights to Yerevan starting March 11, 2026.
The service, which will initially operate seven days a week, is expected to increase to 10 flights per week by May 14 and reach 14 flights per week starting June 15.
New International Routes Providing information on other developments in Armenia's air transport network, Gevorgyan announced that connections with the Baltic states will resume.
AirBaltic is scheduled to operate reciprocal flights on the Yerevan-Riga route starting in May.
Additionally, it was announced that Wizz Air, based in Hungary, will launch Yerevan-London flights as of June.
The Tourism Committee also indicated that new developments are expected regarding flights toward China.
