Grand Ceremony and New Generation Classics Theme GQ Turkey's traditional Men of the Year award ceremony took place on the evening of December 10, hosted by Rixos Tersane Istanbul.
Held under the theme "New Generation Classics," the night brought together influential figures from the worlds of art, sports, fashion, gastronomy, and business.
The ceremony was hosted by Şükran Ovalı and Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, while Müge Boz conducted the red carpet interviews.
Yasemin Gebeş, General Manager of Turkuvaz Magazine, opened the event by stating that this year’s focus was on pioneers shaping the values of the future.
GQ Turkey Editor-in-Chief Alara Kap emphasized the goal of celebrating names that will endure, noting that these individuals are building the culture of tomorrow.
Featured Awards and Winners The "Rising Star Actor of the Year" award was presented to Burak Dakak.
Receiving his award from veteran actress Demet Akbağ, Dakak expressed that starting his career at a young age made this recognition a great honor.
The "Hype of the Year" award went to Emirhan Çakal, presented by RAMS Turkey Chairman Devran Bülbül.
Aras Aydın, recognized for his international achievements, received the "International Success Award." Presented by Hemington Founder and CEO Umut Boz, Aydın thanked his family and wife during his speech.
The "Eye-Catching Success" award was given to Serkan Çayoğlu, who received it from Peugeot Turkey Brand Director Gupse Kaplan.
Vegan Success in the Gastronomy World Another notable award of the night came from the field of gastronomy.
Bahtiyar Büyükduman, the chef of Telezzüz—Turkey's first vegan fine dining restaurant—was named "Chef of the Year." Büyükduman highlighted the importance for the industry of having plant-based cuisine honored on such a prestigious platform.
The ceremony concluded with the participation of numerous guests from the art and business communities.
