Prestigious Award for MXGP Turkey Bakırköy Ata Sports Club, which has a 28-year history in Turkish sports, honored national and international achievements as part of the 2025 "Best of Sports" awards.
The MXGP Turkey World Motocross Championship, held in Afyonkarahisar, was awarded "Best Sports Project of the Year" for its organizational quality and social impact.
International Success and Contribution to Tourism The championship, held at the Afyonkarahisar Motorsports Center, drew international attention with record participant numbers, high spectator interest, and top-tier organizational standards.
Bringing together the world's best motocross riders, the event was praised for its contribution to regional tourism and Turkey's global promotion, in addition to the sporting competition.
TMF President Sadık Vefa: "Our Goal is Greater Success" The award for the project, which adds value to Turkey's sports tourism, was presented to Sadık Vefa, President of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation (TMF).
Speaking at the ceremony, Vefa touched upon the development process of the organization.
"We successfully held the eighth edition of MXGP Turkey this year.
We have established an important roadmap for our athletes who proudly fly our flag in the international arena.
Our greatest wish is to see our athletes achieve even greater success on the world stage," Vefa said.
