Social Media Influencer Deniz Sinan Demir Arrested for Insulting Religious Values

Investigation and Arrest Process Deniz Sinan Demir, a social media influencer who was investigated for using offensive language against religious values during a live broadcast, was referred to the courthouse following procedures at the police station.
Appearing before the duty judge, Demir was arrested and sent to prison on charges of "inciting or insulting the public to hatred and enmity." Defense Cites Illness and Alcohol In his court statement, Demir noted that he conducted the broadcast at an acquaintance's house in Kınalıada.
The influencer stated that he had been consuming alcohol and suffers from bipolar disorder.
He admitted that the statements directed at Sunni citizens, as documented in the expert report, belonged to him.
"I Wouldn't Normally Use Such Language" Arguing that he lost control under the influence of alcohol and his illness, Demir claimed that he does not normally make such statements and that he is also a Muslim.
He mentioned that he consumed alcohol despite having medication he needed to take for his condition.
Expressing regret, Demir requested to be released.
However, the court issued an arrest warrant, taking into account the nature of the crime and the available evidence.
