51 Billion TL Employment and Financing Support for Manufacturing Industry

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Industry and Technology have launched a 51 billion lira support package aimed at protecting 1.1 million jobs in the manufacturing sector.

Program Purpose and Scope The "Manufacturing Industry Financing and Employment Protection Program," implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, has been introduced to the public.
The signing and introductory ceremony held at KOSGEB was attended by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, bank executives, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
Under the program, approximately 51 billion liras of resources will be made directly available to the manufacturing sector through the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, KOSGEB, and İŞKUR.
This massive support package aims to ensure continuity in production and protect approximately 1,100,000 existing jobs.
Minister Işıkhan: "We Aim to Protect Employment" Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that the manufacturing industry is one of the strongest guarantees of national development and expressed that the sector will continue to be supported.
Işıkhan emphasized that the primary goal of the program is to maintain the existing workforce while increasing production capacity.
Sectoral Support and Access to Finance Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that the package prepared to support the manufacturing sector is a strategic step for the country's economy and employment market.
Minister Kacır noted that the financing support would make a significant contribution to the competitiveness of industrialists.
Bendevi Palandöken, President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), drew attention to the importance of this program, which facilitates access to finance for industrialists and tradesmen.
Palandöken stated that strengthening the producer segments plays a critical role in sustainable growth and social welfare, wishing the program success for the business world.
