Students from Gaziantep's Adil Sani Konukoğlu Sports High School secured three gold medals and multiple podium finishes at the Turkish Cross Country and Jerfi Fıratlı Indoor Championships.

Medal Rain in Cross Country and Indoor Athletics Gaziantep Adil Sani Konukoğlu Sports High School has drawn significant attention with its performance in national athletics organizations.
School athletes returned from the Turkish Cross Country Championship and the Jerfi Fıratlı Indoor Championship with a total of three Turkish titles and various high-ranking positions.
In the cross country category, the school's Boys Team secured second place in Turkey, while the Girls Team completed the competition in fourth place nationally.
Individual Successes by Ahmetcan Akkurt and Salih Özdemir School athletes dominated the podium at the Jerfi Fıratlı U18 Turkish Indoor Championship held at the Ataköy Athletics Hall.
Ahmetcan Akkurt became the Turkish champion in the 1500-meter category with a time of 3:57.61.
Salih Özdemir reached the Turkish championship in the 3000-meter category with a time of 8:44.04 and also secured third place in Turkey in the 1500-meter category with a time of 4:00.16.
Medine Şevval Akkurt, competing in the same championship, also achieved significant success.
Akkurt contributed to the medal collection by winning two separate third-place finishes in Turkey with times of 10:07.68 in the 3000-meter category and 4:44.98 in the 1500-meter category.
"Our Goal is International Success" Evaluating the results, Adil Sani Konukoğlu Sports High School Principal Abdullah Taşdemir stated that these successes were the result of disciplined work and the dedication of the coaches.
Taşdemir noted that they are training talented athletes in various disciplines and shared the following vision: "Our goal is to discover talented youth, guide them correctly, and represent Gaziantep and our country in the best possible way in both national and international arenas."
