Rough Construction Completed for Disaster Housing in Balıkesir's Sındırgı: 974 Units Under Construction

974 Independent Units Under Construction Under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, the construction of a total of 974 independent units has been planned in the Sındırgı and Bigadiç districts of Balıkesir.
As part of the project, it was decided that 100 TOKİ social housing units built in Sındırgı’s Çavdaroğlu Neighborhood would be allocated to beneficiaries whose homes were damaged in the earthquake.
Minister Murat Kurum emphasized that the process is being carried out with determination, stating that every family will be reunited with safe and warm homes as soon as possible.
Beneficiaries Express Gratitude for State Support Citizens eagerly awaiting their new homes expressed their satisfaction after visiting sample apartments.
Fatma Kartal, whose home was severely damaged, stated that they are counting down the days to move into their new residences following the disaster.
Another beneficiary, Leyla Çelikten, highlighted that the state's financial and moral support represents a new beginning for them.
According to Ministry data, the housing in the region is targeted for completion and key delivery within one year.
