Borsa Istanbul Closes Week Higher: BIST 100 Index at 13,934 Points

Testing a low of 13,718.14 and a high of 13,934.06 during the day, the index increased by 129.82 points compared to the previous close.
Meanwhile, the BIST 30 index closed the day at 15,490.94 points, up 1.39%.
Technology Sector Leads the Rise On a sectoral basis, the technology index was the top performer of the day with an increase of 2.09%.
The services index gained 0.95%, the financial index rose by 0.86%, and the industrial index increased by 0.77%.
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, 70 ended the day with gains, 26 lost value, and 4 remained unchanged.
The companies with the highest trading volumes were: Turkish Airlines ASELSAN Türkiye İş Bankası (C) Sasa Polyester Akbank In the bond and bill market, the simple yield of the bond maturing on July 14, 2027, was 33.76% in today's value-dated transactions, while the compound yield stood at 36.60%.
In global markets, the price per barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at $71.1, a decrease of 0.7%.
