Midday at Borsa Istanbul: BIST 100 Index Drops to 13,771 Points

BIST 100 Index Outlook The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul experienced a slight retreat in the first half of the day, falling to 13,771.49 points compared to the previous close.
During the first half of the trading session, the index hit a low of 13,751.89 points and tested a high of 13,914.32 points.
Among the stocks included in the index, 48 gained value, 51 declined, and one remained unchanged.
Sectoral Performance and Trading Volume On a sectoral basis, the technology index diverged positively by gaining 1.27%.
In contrast, the services index fell by 0.05%, the industrial index by 0.22%, and the financial index by 0.45%.
The most traded stocks in the first half of the day were: Turkish Airlines (THY) ASELSAN Sasa Polyester Türkiye İş Bankası (C) Akbank Currency, Bond, and Commodity Markets In the Bond and Bill Market, the benchmark bond maturing on July 14, 2027, saw a simple yield of 33.79% and a compound yield of 36.64% as of 1:00 PM.
In the Istanbul free market, the US dollar is trading at 43.8450 lira, while the euro is at 51.6290 lira.
In international markets, the price of gold rose by 0.5% to $5,028 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of Brent crude oil decreased by 0.9% to $70.9 per barrel.
