Comprehensive Investigation by the Competition Board The Competition Board has decided to launch a wide-ranging investigation to determine whether Article 4 of Law No.
4054 on the Protection of Competition has been violated in the labor market.
The investigation reportedly includes Türkiye İş Bankası and Yapı Kredi Bank, along with numerous other banks, financial institutions, and companies from various sectors.
Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) Notifications Official statements regarding the investigation process were made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by both İş Bankası and Yapı Kredi Bank.
In their notifications, the banks stated that the Competition Board took this step to evaluate competition conditions in the labor market and to identify any potential non-compliance with the relevant article of the law.
Employee Mobility and Competition Conditions The investigation aims to audit potential agreements and practices that restrict employee mobility or hinder competition in the labor market.
Following the Board's review, it will be clarified whether the relevant institutions acted in accordance with the legislation and if there were any violations affecting employee rights and market balance.
