Official Recognition for R&D Efforts Eti Bakır's R&D center operating in Samsun has received official registration from the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
This registration aims to formalize the center's collaborations with academic institutions and increase the number of projects conducted both domestically and internationally.
İbrahim Göktaş, R&D Director of Eti Bakır, stated that obtaining the title of an R&D center is a critical step for competing on a global scale.
Göktaş emphasized that this title will transform the institution from a structure that merely solves problems into one that actively develops technology.
Institutionalization and Access to Funding Expressing that the registration process adds great value in terms of institutionalization and discipline, Göktaş noted that they are combining underground wealth with intellect and science.
He highlighted the advantages of the registration, noting that access to national and international funding programs will become easier and that every project involved with the registration certificate will pave the way for new initiatives.
Focus on Sustainability and Efficiency Göktaş stated that the mining sector is no longer measured solely by reserve amounts, but by efficiency and environmental approaches.
He noted that university-industry cooperation would become a fundamental business model for the company.
