Wide Participation in the Championship The 2025-2026 School Sports Orienteering Youth A-B Turkish Championship, organized in Adana through the cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of National Education, the Adana Governor's Office, and the Turkish Orienteering Federation, has concluded.
The event saw intense competition on challenging tracks with 365 athletes participating from 38 different provinces.
Success Across Two Stages Eymen Vatansever, a student at Şehit Oğuz Özgür Çevik Anatolian High School who trained under coach Harun Altun within the Aliağa District Directorate of Youth and Sports, delivered an outstanding performance.
On the first day of the organization, Vatansever outpaced all his competitors in the Middle Distance (Forest) stage to take first place in Turkey.
Top of the General Classification On the second day of the championship, the young athlete secured second place in the Sprint stage.
Based on the total points collected from both stages, Vatansever earned the title of Turkish Champion in the general classification.
This achievement has become a source of great pride for both his school and the district of Aliağa.
