Injury Blow for Fenerbahçe: Ederson and Talisca Out for Three Weeks

Injury Report Following Kasımpaşa Match After Fenerbahçe's 1-1 draw against Kasımpaşa in the 23rd week of the Süper Lig, head coach Domenico Tedesco provided significant updates regarding the team's injury status.
Tedesco announced that both goalkeeper Ederson and midfielder Talisca are expected to be out of action for approximately three weeks.
Match Analysis and Tactical Adjustments Evaluating the performance, Tedesco noted that the match consisted of two distinct halves.
He explained that forced substitutions of two center-backs in the first half due to injuries necessitated a tactical shift.
In the second half, the team transitioned to a 3-5-2 formation.
"We changed the system in the second half, and despite only practicing it once, my players implemented it well.
We applied pressure and found the goal, but then conceded.
The league is a long journey, and we must keep looking forward," Tedesco stated.
Squad Depth and Defensive Concerns The Italian coach highlighted the growing list of absences, noting that Skriniar, Çağlar, and Alvarez are still undergoing treatment, while Oosterwolde and Fred were unavailable due to suspensions.
Tedesco confirmed that Tarık will guard the goal until the international break.
Addressing defensive vulnerabilities, particularly regarding goals conceded from crosses, the experienced manager added: "We are conceding too many goals from crosses.
We discuss and work on this, but we are facing implementation issues on the field.
We must do everything possible to prevent those crosses."
