Denizli Athlete Shines in Antalya The Turkey Open Water Swimming Winter Championship, organized by the Turkish Swimming Federation, concluded in Antalya between February 12 and 15.
A total of 334 athletes from across Turkey participated in the event, where the Denizli team stood out with their disciplined preparation and performance.
Polat delivered an impressive performance to win the gold medal, officially becoming the Turkish champion in his division.
Congratulations from Provincial Director Erdoğan Süleyman Erdoğan, the Denizli Youth and Sports Provincial Director, congratulated the athletes and the technical staff following the achievement.
Erdoğan noted that the athletes competed with great determination and discipline, highlighting that the city is reaping the rewards of its infrastructure investments.
Emphasizing that success is a result of teamwork, Erdoğan praised coaches Yusuf Başar, Çiğdem Ekmekçi, and Elif Atsız.
He stated that investments in Denizli's sports infrastructure will continue resolutely, with the goal of further elevating the city's success across various sporting disciplines.
