Scopely, the owner of popular titles such as Monopoly GO!, Pokémon GO, and Scrabble GO, has positioned Turkey as one of the most dynamic gaming hubs in the region with this move.
Tim O’Brien, Chief Revenue Officer at Scopely, emphasized that the momentum Pixel Flow achieved shortly after its launch is a rare occurrence, noting that the team has built a powerful experience.
The "Unicorn Factory" Era in the Gaming Ecosystem Bora Koçyiğit, Vice President of the Turkish e-Sports Federation, stated that Loom Games’ success reinforces the strength of the Turkish gaming ecosystem.
Koçyiğit noted that Turkey is no longer just a consumer of games but a base for world-class production, predicting that at least three more game studios will reach billion-dollar valuations within the next two years.
The Growing Turkish Market in Figures While the global digital gaming market grows by an average of 10 percent annually, approaching $200 billion, the Turkish market recorded 25 percent growth last year, reaching $1.1 billion.
The number of active players in Turkey has risen to 50 million, with a demographic profile consisting of 46 percent women and 54 percent men.
These figures demonstrate Turkey's increasing share and strategic importance in the global gaming industry.
