Regional Precipitation Forecast According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, a wave of precipitation continues to affect Turkey.
Rain and showers are expected across the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Black Sea, Eastern Black Sea coasts, and the Southeastern Anatolia region.
Intermittent showers are also anticipated in the inland parts of Antalya.
Snow and Avalanche Risk at High Altitudes Sleet and snow are forecast for the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea and high-altitude regions of Eastern Anatolia.
Citizens and drivers have been urged to exercise caution against the risk of avalanches and rapid snowmelt, particularly in areas with significant snow cover on steep slopes.
Temperature and Wind Conditions Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in northwestern parts, while decreasing by the same margin in the northeast.
Temperatures in other regions are expected to remain around seasonal norms.
Winds are predicted to blow lightly to moderately from the north, shifting to the south over time in the Marmara region.
Regional Weather Details Black Sea: Showers will continue intermittently in Samsun, Trabzon, and Rize.
Eastern Anatolia: Snowfall is expected around Kars, Ağrı, Ardahan, Muş, Van, and Bitlis.
Southeastern Anatolia: Rain will be effective across the region, particularly in Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, and Şanlıurfa.
