The company spent approximately $39.8 million on this latest investment.
The acquisitions were financed using proceeds from the sale of the company's Class A common stock at market prices.
With this latest addition, MicroStrategy's total Bitcoin holdings have risen to 717,722 BTC, representing more than 3.4 percent of Bitcoin's total supply of 21 million.
Portfolio Cost and Unrealized Losses An analysis of the company's entire portfolio shows an average cost of $76,020 per Bitcoin.
This massive position, with a total cost reaching approximately $54.6 billion, reflects an unrealized loss of about $7.1 billion based on current market prices.
