Record Growth in Industry and Exports Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır highlighted Turkey's progress in industry and production over the last 23 years during his visit to Malatya.
Minister Kacır stated that Turkey's annual industrial value added has increased from $41 billion to $241 billion, while export figures have risen from $36 billion to $273 billion.
Reconstruction Efforts in Earthquake Zones Stating that the state has been on the ground with all its resources following the February 6 earthquakes, Kacır emphasized that cities are being rebuilt through infrastructure and superstructure projects.
Referring to the work carried out specifically in Malatya, the Minister noted that tens of thousands of houses and workplaces have been completed and delivered to their rightful owners to date.
Production and Financing Support Kacır mentioned that new industrial areas have been commissioned to permanently revive economic life and production in the regions affected by the earthquake, and billions of liras in financing support have been provided for industrial projects.
It was stated that the efforts carried out under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan aim to make cities more economically resilient.
