Housing Mobilization in the Earthquake Zone Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum attended the "Homeowner Turkey" lottery ceremony in Gaziantep.
Speaking at the event held as part of the 500,000 social housing project, Kurum shared updated data on the reconstruction efforts following the February 6 earthquakes.
He stated that as a result of the work carried out in 11 affected provinces, the construction of 455,000 homes has been completed to date.
Criticism of the Opposition In his speech, Minister Kurum criticized the opposition's stance toward the earthquake zone, arguing that the services provided are being ignored.
"The opposition boasts about sending a trash can to the earthquake zone, yet they dismiss the 455,000 homes that have been completed," Kurum said.
He added, "We are implementing services while they conduct perception operations.
