Employment Support and Expanded Scope Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır has announced the details of a new 100 billion lira financing package designed for the manufacturing industry.
The Employment Protection Support Program, which was launched last year for the textile, ready-to-wear, leather, and furniture sectors, has been expanded to include large-scale enterprises in the new period.
Under the program, the monthly support amount provided per employee has been increased from 2,500 lira to 3,500 lira.
This regulation aims to protect a total of 1.1 million jobs across the industry.
Loans Up to 50 Million Lira and Flexible Payment Options With the new financing package, businesses will have the opportunity to access loans of up to 50 million lira, proportional to their employment costs.
The 100 billion lira fund, provided through protocols signed with banks, will be made available for industrialists.
The payment terms for the loan package have been set as follows: A 6-month grace period for principal payments A total maturity of 36 months Special guarantee support for SMEs Reducing Financing Costs via KOSGEB Special incentives are also being implemented for manufacturing SMEs outside the textile, clothing, leather, and furniture sectors.
Through financing cost support provided by KOSGEB, annual costs are planned to be reduced to approximately 23 percent.
Minister Kacır emphasized that the sustainability of production is of critical importance for the economy in line with the "Turkey Century" vision, stating that they will continue to support every level of industry.
